Quote from @Isaac Lane:

Hello BP community, what are your favorite real estate and business books? I am trying to find some good books to read soon to help me grow and increase my knowledge in real estate. Let me know your suggestions below. Thanks in advance!

One of my favorite questions, Isaac Lane.
Quick story.  I got a recommendation for William Poorvu and Jeffrey Cruikshank's Real Estate Game - An Intelligent Guide To Decision-Making... and put it on my long to-read list.

A few days ago, opened it to a random page and something the author wrote has stuck with me since then:

I think real estate is as much about people as it is about property.
It's people who add value or subtract value in the real estate
game—whether by design or by accident.

Already, opening this book has improved my perspective and helped me grow.
Hope you enjoy it! Let us know what gems you find.

Post: How to Get Better at Maintenance & Damage Issues

Quick question: what's your professional recommendation for maintenance and  damage costs? Do you hire contractors/subcontractors that you know or

use franchises like Servpro, Merry Maids, Stanley Steamer??
We

are looking at a group of properties (PHX metro Arizona, Florida, and

Carolina) that will/need extensive cleaning and have no clue how to a:

get them done professionally and affordably while also b: keeping the

costs of the damage and maintenance minimal for the property in the

future.
Any suggestions and lessons you've learned from would be helpful so we can minimize costs and maximize happy paying tenants.
Thanks in advance and have a great one!

@Christian Requejo

Hey this is a good topic (and market).

I'm upvoting your post to commend you on a decent and specific ask so you can find the people you're looking for.

Good luck and feel free to share your progress when you find someone that works. It's good to see people start out and make it happen!

Cheers
