What is the "terrible rate" of which you speak? @Kevin Mitchell and @Gerard Gonzalez. The trade off for a fast sum of money is a higher rate, but I am curious what that rate looks like. I just received a marketing piece in the mail, and hadn't heard of them yet.

Mine was a 10. I'm in the process of refi to get a lower rate. I needed the quick cash to get a few jobs done right away.

Im trying to use them to pull a quick refi and then refi into a lower interest rate with another bank once I complete renovations. I thought it would be super easy but it seems like a pain. Also having to link all of your financial accounts seems a little shady to me. The process is terrible. Ive had to reapply three times now.

@Richard Arden I like Washington Street area around NFA and Backus.

New London and Norwich have some rough spots and taxes are pretty high. But the deals are there. Just with a low grade tenant base for the most part. Sucks cause they both could be beautiful towns. I like Stonington-Westerly RI area. down side is the age of the homes.

I'm definitely interested in Bridgeport area.
