I also have to say that changing a pump is not rocket science. If you have changed an alternator before then you can probably handle changing a circulator pump.

Thanks a lot for your reply, I paid about $100 for the pump, $30 for thermo, $60 for 2 release valve because I didn't have any, and $300 for the labor.Total of $490.  Now that I have the valve in place I am pretty confident in changing it myself.

For those in the business, how much does it cost to replace a circulator pump?

I am looking for a recommended electrician that is good at troubleshooting an electrical issue in Albany, NY area. Thanks a lot!

HI all ... I'm in the Albany, NY area looking to connect as well.   Sounds like there are more active BP members in the area than I had noticed prior.   Would love to chat.   I would be willing to host a Zoom intro call if there are others who are interested.  At the very least to meet and talk about aspirations and challenges starting out.  Let it evolve from there.   I'm new as well ... currently on the hunt for my 1st house.

 Hi Felix, I am a newbie and I would love to connect with those who are working in the Albany, NY area. A Zoom call is a great idea to start with.

@Eric Ruiz Hi there, I love the idea and I think I’ll be there as well.

@Cameron Tope Thanks a lot, that’s exactly what I’m thinking to do.

@Wayne Brooks Thanks a lot!

Hi Guys!

I bought my first duplex with a Conventional loan and I would like to know if it's possible for me to buy another duplex to move in using an FHA loan?

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi guys, I am in the process of getting a house in the capital Region, specifically in Albany, NY. I am looking for any reliable General Contractor who can help me with the process, for example, checking houses and give estimates for repairs.

Any recommendations for the Albany, NY area are greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

I just read a lot of great comment and my small advice will be; check out 12203 probably the best area, 12208 close to Albany Med & Saint Peters hospitals, Albany Law School, 12209 Delaware Ave, and check out carefully 12206.
