It would make sense to me to take on 'green' building principles especially thinking of the monthly savings.

But does going green in your development properties also being on the extra costs of having to have specialist do certain parts of the job because it is a 'green' job in whatever aspect where a normal gc wouldn't be able to install something specific?

Hello everyone.

I'm new here and I've just been looking around the forums for the past week or so. I hope to learn a lot about the Real Estate business from here (I was actually surprised to find a community like this).

A little about me: I'm from Tuskegee, AL and I am currently in school at Auburn University studying French International Business and Spanish. I want to be an International Real Estate Developer especially in South America and Developing Africa. I'm looking for ways into the industry now (I'm 19). I'm an entrepreneur at heart (have already started a few businesses and taking my learning experiences from them). I extremely interested in Wholesaling, Property Management (rentals), and of course Development.

I'm looking for any help I can get because where I come from its not very likely that you will do anything with your life, and I refuse to give into that. Plus with what I want to do, there are not many opportunities to learn from anybody or get a internship of the sort. So, I would like to say I'm extremely grateful that this place exists and that I may learn as much as I possibly can from you all.

:D
