@German Tapia who does your team currently consist of? Just the agent or are you buying deals yourself off market? If you are buying and don't have a team, you should stop and re-evaluate your process. Cleveland is not a market where you go in alone. If you are using an agent, they have a rolodex ranging from inspectors, GCs, PMs, attorneys, etc. If they don't, you shouldn't be working with them.

Hi Vadim, Thank you for your Input. I am in the process of building a team. I will be going to Cleveland to meet the Pros. Right now I am getting their contact info. Thank you and Blessings πŸ™‚

You do not need to go to cleveland to  "build your team" I did 99% of it online. I now have more then 20 contractors, and 5 full time handymen.

ALll the best

Hi Bob, I get it!!! Thanks for your advise!! 😁

I am trying to close a Home in Cleveland, I need a good Home Inspector to check on the current property status. Thank you German

No you do not, I have done about 500 out there never using and inspector. All you need is for a member of your team to walk it, save the 500- 1k, Also I hope you are not buying without a team in place,
All the best

Thank you Bob. I am new in Real Estate. So I am starting to contact people and and form a team. Thank you again. German

Hi so you do not have a property just " building your team " ? If so you do not need an inspector. All you need to do is connect with those that are doing deals there, I know many from out of state and country that never go to Cleveland , they have a team in place,

Bob, Thank you for the Input!! I appreciate it. Blessings German πŸ™‚

I am a NYC-based investor in the Cleveland market. I will be in Cleveland this Friday and Saturday and really want to maximize my time there by meeting up with pros face to face. I am looking to build my boots on the ground team that I can trust from NY. This includes an agent, contractor, property manager, inspector, etc.

If you are in the Cleveland area looking for new investors to work with let me know, would love to chat further and get the ball rolling and meet up while i’m in town.

Thanks and have a great day.

Hi Molly, How are you??? I am looking to invest in Cleveland as well, how did it go on your trip?? Thank you have a great day. German

Hey German! Honestly it was really worth it! I met a bunch of people and now have a few
people i can really rely on and trust. It also helped to explore the neighborhoods and do some house walkthroughs. I rented a car and drove around to the houses I had looked at prior to the trip. Someone else on here made a good point, we’re investing hundreds of thousands of dollars so it’s worth it to invest the extra few hundred to do your due diligence. I’m now set to close on my first cleveland house within the week. good luck! 😁

Molly, Thank you for sharing!!! I will have to make that trip as well. Thank you and Blessings for you!!!πŸ™‚βœ¨πŸ’›πŸ™

On things like this, the best bet is to contact a local real estate agent and ask for recommendations. Finding someone on BP for something time sensitive is a crap shoot.

Thank you Karen, Do you know someone there?
