Does anyone know what it is like to invest in a storage facility?  Does the location of the storage facility play a major role? I am thinking of investing one, today my realtor called me to notify me one just came on the market.  Though the neighborhood could be a slightly criminal one, i.e. not the ideal location to raise a family in a peaceful environment, if you get the idea.  Who has a storage facility as an investment and what a are the issues to pay attention to? we are a small family looking to invest by  buying a MHP or a storage facility.

So far our realtor found only on MHP, for 425K, for 19 units.  IT seems an awful lot of money, considering they just sold it 6 years ago for 113K, same MHP.

The homes are owned by the tenants of the lot, which is good, not sure if that investment will be a good one or not.
