We currently have 10 lots on which we are planning to built single family houses in the Port Charlotte area.

Interested in networking with experienced real estate professionals in the area.

As new to the area I am looking to network and connect with investors / builders / contractors and real estate professionals.

Thank you all,

Best,

George

Hello @Brian Hemedinger,

I went to UB for undergraduate and graduate school. Since 2009, when I first attended UB, the North Campus student housing has expended quite a bit and there are still plans on large scale multi-family developments underway.

I myself have been trying to purchase a few properties in Amherst but have been beaten by cash or way over asking price offers.

I am currently still looking for smaller multi-family properties in so called B neighborhoods that still provide a good cash flow but competition is not as fierce.

Always looking to network with like minded local investors.

All the best,

George

Hey @Jon Liffiton,

I think Buffalo is a great market to be invest in. Prices have been appreciating quite a lot in the past few years and the easy money have been made. Now, I suggest talking and networking with local investors and specialists in order to find those nice deals, which still exist.

Good luck!

George

Hello everyone,

I have purchased an investment property 3 years ago in Memphis TN. Back then, I was leaving in Toronto, Canada so I have qualified for a high interest rate ballon payment type mortgage. I would like to refinance this mortgage as I moved back in US this September and I am also interested in getting prequalified to purchase a property in Buffalo NY (my current residence) through FHA loan.

Any recommendations for reliable lenders would be greatly appreciated,

Thank you,

George

@Will Chamberlin I completely agree with you. I will be moving there next week and I am planning to start networking and get in touch with some of the local real estate experts. I am also planning a marketing campaign that will be launching next week.

@Steven Pierpaoli Thank you. I tend to agree on that after doing some research.

For my first deals I am leaning more towards investing in my area as I want to learn the as much as possible. If however the numbers make sense and the deal is great why not @Chris Tracy?

Hello everyone,

I am currently closing on a single family property for which I had a 35% down payment. Will be getting back an estimated of 50k which I am planning to invest on a multi-family. I also have a passive investor that is willing to co-sign and add additional funds as necessary.

My question to you all is what suggestions you have for getting me started  on smaller apartment complexes. I am looking for 6 to 25 units in the Western New York Area B  class units. I have looked on loopnet and run some numbers and I don't like at all what I am seeing.

I will be closing soon on my sale and I have already arranged with a QI in order to setup a 1031 exchange. Any tips recommendations to get me started would be great. I am looking in the Buffalo / Rochester area as I want to actively manage the properties.

Thank you,

George

Hello @Anthony J. Gullo

It seems like we are in a similar situation - looking to invest in Buffalo NY. I am currently closing on an investment property in Memphis TN and looking to do a 1031 in Buffalo NY as I will be moving there next week. If you ever come up there would love to connect. Thank you

George
