Hi Everybody on Biggerpockets,

I got a simple question from a newbie (thats me). Does anyone know of any good recommendations for a housing contractor in the San Diego, Ca area? Before I find a rehab home for flip or rental I want to have some housing engineers on the list to be able to interpret deals and calls these guys in to get a number on the rehab costs. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I really need to find a couple of real estate agents in San Diego that can help me find distressed or fixer uppers that I can BRRR or flip. If anyone has any useful information that would be great! Oh yes and finding private money lenders would be a huge help too. I am just starting out and I now how valuable it is to have a good team to work with. Even Michael Jordan didn't win his rings without Pippen, Kukoc, and Rodman.

Is there an example for a newbie like me to look at?

Just watched the video on how to use biggerpockets to future my real estate business, lol...though I've never done a deal before, this site is amazing. There are other real estate educators like Fortune Builders trying to charge $60K to get educated and they do not even have half the resources! Simply amazing...

I heard about the NSDREI at the el camino country club, I used to live in the Vista Way Village Condo right down the street so I am familiar with the area. I can't make the meetup on december 20th, I'll have to wait until february 20th of 2017 to attend my first meeting.

Can you tell me about any other real estate investor meetings in our area?

Hey thanks for the reply Dan. Yes, I have heard of meeting up with the local REI group of investors to get a good feel of what is in store for me as a beginning real estate investor. I not quite sure what an SFR is and I definitely don't know all the tricks and trades of the businss so this REI meetup should be good for my understanding of the real estate business.

My name is George Smith and I currently live in Oceanside, ca which is in sunny san diego county. I am new to real estate and would love the opportunity to do real estate and work with others in my area. I have alot of sweat equity to use and time on my hands to be productive for any investor that I would work with.
