Is it legal to inquire about a prospective tenant to assets? And if they assert that they have certain assets, can you request for them to validate their assertion?

Hello all,

I am looking at a 3 family investment property in a historic district that requires replacement windows to be made of wood and not aluminum or vinyl. Have any of you worked with manufacturers that you can recommend that can do custom wood window matching at a reasonable price? This particular job has 35 windows.

Hi All,

I too am interested to meet and network with fellow investors on Cape Cod. I have been real estate investing for 20 years and my primary activities are providing loans for private mortgages to rehabbers, building new construction homes and investing in year round rentals. I am happy to share any of my knowledge and experience with others. If you feel we have any similar interest please let me know and let’s set up a call to get familiar with each other’s goals. Currently I prefer zoom or small attendance group meetings.

Regards,

Mark

Has anybody completed any rehabs using black windows? I have used the Pella for a very expensive project and love them but don’t have the budget to do them in a medium-priced rehab. Has any body used any other brands that they find both affordable and of decent quality?

Post: Land development - Contingencies in offer

Does anyone have any experience in putting contingencies in offers to sellers of raw land? I am looking at a parcel and I will need to meet with the zoning and planning boards of the local town to determine if the land can be subdivided into single family lots, multi family development, etc. This typically takes a few months and I am unsure how to dialogue with the sellers on the process, I don’t want to put in too low an offer and have them reject it but I also need to protect my downside should the town not grant my highest and best use. Any experience or suggestions will be appreciated.
