@Horacio Gutierrez  It might be worth joining for a year to see how it is and if you like the benefits.

I believe you should be able to write this off on your taxes...talk to you tax person first to verify.

Keep us updated if you did join and if you thought it was worth it.

Hi Biggerpocket Team!

I am putting the finishing touches on a studio apartment that was built over my garage.

It has unfinished wooden steps leading up to it now but I would like to find out what everyone is covering their steps with.

My contractor suggested tile....but I think there are more cons than pros to putting tile on steps.

Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

Thank you...

Hi Biggerpockets family,

I am getting close to be able to start renting out my back house and want a bullet proof lease agreement.

Does anyone have any recommendations on an attorney in the Los Angeles area who can create one?

Any and all recommendations and advice is appreciated.

Thank you...

Hi Biggerpockets Team,

I am renovating my house and studio unit and am in need of good cabinets and counter tops.

So far I have talked to a few vendors that deal with custom to RTA style kitchen cabinets and they are either way too expensive or the quality was sub-par for a primary residence.

I also looked at a couple of countertop vendors and quartz counter tops are expensive!

Any and all suggestions or referrals to reasonably priced and good quality cabinet and counter top vendors is much appreciated.

Thank you,

Ronnie

Hi Biggerpocket Team!

I am going to start a significant remodel of my house in Santa Monica and wanted to maximize all possible rebates, grants or energy rebates that are available for new roofs, windows, appliances, insulation, landscaping..ect.

I have a basic list (local municipality and appliance rebates) but didn't know if there was anything that I was missing or didn't know about...possibly other agencies?

Any and all advice is much appreciated.

Thank you,

Ronnie
