I am going to attend the next REIA meeting here in Prescott, AZ. I am not sure what to expect, or what to even ask a person there?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yes, I am that newbie everyone is talking about. I think I have damaged myself, by trying to learn everything about investing. I have been reading, watching webinars, and networking constantly for the past 2 months, except for Sunday. My mind of garbled up with so much information. Am I overdoing it. I burned out a few weeks ago, and just getting started again, I am doubting now too.

When you first started, how long did it take for you to start going out and finding wholesale deals? Did you have doubts during that time. I do have a realtor that I work with, because I do not have access to the MLS, plus it never hurts to have a realtor on board. He is working with me because I told him he will be my exclusive realtor for referrals.

Also, where did you learn what all to say to sellers, and work through objections?

One more question. What would you say is a fair finder’s fee for a wholesaler to another wholesaler?

Any advice would definitely help. I am sure I am not the only person going through or have gone through this.

Can anyone explain what gap funding is? Is it the difference between the 80% (the average amount a PML will lend) and 100% (my down payment for the loan)?

@Manuel Angeles

Hey Manuel, could you explain GAP funding? That would not be in the funding that you originally allotted for the rehab?

Oh man, sorry to hear that. I guess it wasn't meant to be right? They always say if you don't get a deal you want, just wait, and a better deal will come along.

I am in the same boat. I am just reading, studying, watching webinars, networking with realtors. I will be attending the REIA meeting. Hopefully I will me some investors there. I am hoping to find a private lender to get me going on the first couple of deals. I am not sure what else to do at this point. I know I am trying my best. I will be starting my LLC, and then marketing, marketing, marketing.

Any advice would be appreciated.
