Hi everybody, I just bought the exam material on groupon and started reading it.There is a lot to go through and memorize but I am pretty sure most of it will not be on the exam. For those of you that have taken the exam, what is the best way to study for this test? Thanks in advance.

I would start with the blog posts, You need to learn as much as possible before getting started, with that being said don't wait too long. Actual flipping of a house is still the best education, I would either find someone you can "shadow" or find a great deal and jump right in. good luck!

Hi guys, are there any real estate investors in the NYC area that flip houses that would allow me to shadow them or can walk me through their next flip. I have some free time throughout the week and would love to learn the in and outs of flipping a house. If there is anything that I can help you with during the flip let me know, I will work for free! Thanks!

Thanks for everyones input! I will take a look at some of the companies mentioned above and do some research. Thank you all.

Post: Where can you find the numbers for a deal analysis?

Hi guys, I am trying to work out some numbers for a few houses i found. What is the best way to get some accurate numbers to do a deal analysis? The numbers I am mainly concerned with are the expenses such a taxes, insurance, garbage collection, vacancy rate, etc. I would like to do this before I go take a look at the house and dive deeper. Thanks for the help.

Hello Everyone,

I'm currently looking for houses around University at Buffalo as a rental property.  Does anyone have any management companies and inspection companies that they would recommend? I currently live in NYC and would definitely a third party to manage the property.

Thank you everyone in advance for your help!
