I am looking for a CPA to help me and my business partner with Taxes as we currently have a rental out of state and live in California. Eventually it will be in an LLC.

I would say start making small obtainable goals like first set the goal of getting out of that debt. Create a budget (I use EveryDollar). Once you figure out your disposable income after expenses you can see how much you can save each month toward a downpayment on a property. For investments it’s 20%. Then make the goal get one house then get two and just scale like that. Eventually you will have equity in the properties and money saved from cash flow where you can scale quicker. Set obtainable goals to not be discouraged.

A quote that I tell myself is “Don’t wait to buy real estate, buy real estate and wait”. There will never be a perfect time but if the numbers make sense for you in your personal situation on a deal then I’d say go for it. As an extra level of protection You could try and save up a few months of what the potential mortgage will be to give you peace of mind.

@Sean Monahan hi I am a rookie who just signed up on the website from the Fresno area as well and looking to connect with people. I am trying to learn as much as I can and hopefully get a deal eventually!
