@Blake HernandezThanks Blake! I was pretty surprised when I found out you guys didn't have basements haha. The realtors i contacted thought I was crazy when I asked if there were any places with basement suites. I personally have only visited New Orleans, is Baton Rouge pretty open? How's finding off-market deals? Do you guys use craigslist down there for off-market stuff? For us in Canada, we have something similar called Kjiji which has tons of off-market deals if you're willing to look.

I am moving down to Louisiana from Canada (Baton Rouge specifically) and would love to connect with some Louisiana investors in the area. Would love to hear your thoughts on the market there! A little about my current goals, I am looking at doing a house hack in Baton Rouge and looking at everything from duplexes to fourplexes. My longer-term goals are to get into Multi-Family properties and reach 100 doors!
