Excellent points.  I completely agree that being human can take you a lot farther in many things.  That was the original plan on this deal, but I think I was too trusting and forgiving.

On our next deal I plan to start with more distance.  Something like a handwritten note with my contact info.  And then possibly meet in person.

Wondering if I’ll regret giving out my personal number or full name?

Thanks again to everyone.  Little embarrassed I made it sound like I was a marshmallow or something ha.  I think I just needed to hear from others that this is part of the business.  What’s going to happen to these people is inevitable so might as well be us that gets the deal.  Maybe use some of the money for philanthropy or something ha.

I’ll be sure to post about how the rehab is going.  I’m sure I’ve got many more hard lessons to learn.
