Great question. I use Clearview Federal Credit Union for my rental. They are highly rated and I have enjoyed my experience so far.

In listening to the podcast and reading some other BP literature, a good rule of thumb is to use a local bank or credit union if investing in property less than $1 million (like CFCU) and the bigger regional/national banks for more expensive or larger commercial properties. For my future investments, I will be exploring some of their other loan options (e.g. if they can wrap a reno loan into a conventional mortgage--similar to a 203k loan) in the coming months. I will let you know how it goes.

I am considering two multi-families in the heart of Little Italy (5 & 6 units on Murray Hill Road). What cap rates are other investors seeing in Little Italy nowadays? Many of the posts I've found are 6+ years old. Thanks for your help!
