@Nick Winikoff Hey Nick, would love to chime in on this. Google ads is great because of the type of marketing that it is. It’s intent based marketing. Meaning that people are going online looking for answers. Versus disruptive based marketing like direct mail where you send out a bunch of mail and hope the right person sees it. Both have their benefits. Google ads you’re getting your message in front of people you know are wanting to sell their house. The negative is that the house they are trying to sell may not fit your buying criteria. Direct mail you know that your are sending to people who own houses you can and want to buy, but the negative is that most will not want to sell.

As far as which is cheaper I find Google will most likely be your cheaper option. However, this does all depend on your market and how well your campaigns are setup.

I find a lot of people like direct mail because it’s a lot easier to click a button and pay to send mail to a bunch of people. Doesn’t require to much work on their part.

Google ads is definitely a skill and this is another reason why it can be a great source of leads.

@Gabe Zigo Google Ads is my favorite online marketing strategy for motivated seller leads. As far as how quickly you start generating it should happen very soon. For most of my clients it’s within the first few days.

I know your post is a bit older so I’m curious to know how things went.

Having a website is not going to be a huge game changer, but it will open the door to some Lead gen strategies you wouldn’t otherwise have. When starting out I definitely recommend using websites that offer cheap done for you solutions.

What if we are looking for seller leads. Which one would you pick?
