I'm thinking of investing in  the East Houston, Channelview, Pasadena and deerpark areas. I don't want to make my farm area to large but I would not pass up a deal in out side areas. I'm wanting to know if anyone has any knowledge on weather or not these area are good for rehabbing single family homes. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Sent my first set of mailers threw the post office. Signed up for a bulk mail permit using pre-cancled stamps bought some  4x6 innvitation size envelopes and blank 4x6 cards in all about .32 cents a letter including postage. Two days later my first call it was only a buyer from the area which I added to my buyers list but was still a good sign that my letter was getting in hands! I only sent 300 sending 700 in a few days making it 1000 for the month. I typed a simple letter on photoshop getting the writing to look as close as I could to handwriting left a space to hand write the site address and hand wrote the outside of the envelopes. I'm confident that I will get more calls and find a good deal soon.

Post: Street addressing for mailers in houston tx

Hello everyone I recently purchased a p.o.box from the post office. After I did this I read an article on "street addressing" I read that you can now write your return address in a format using the physical address of the post office with the p.o. number after name of street.

My question is does this apply to anyone with a valid p.o. from the post office?  Or is there a sepreate application or fee to pay in order to writs it this way? I'm preparing to send my first mailing and I don't want to waste envelopes and time.. any help with this would be great!

I'm currently getting started in wholesaling here in East Houston. I recently purchased 4000 absentee names and addresses from mellissa data and im not sure what route I'd like to go letters or post cards and postage options.

I read alot that letters hand written in red ink get a lot more attention and seem more personal. I also read about post cards being good also. To rotate them every couple months.

As far as postage goes I see it can be pricey depending on the route you go so I'm not sure if I want to go with the usps and some of there options or a site like yellow letters.Com.

Also not sure If I should weed threw the list and look at properties before sending mailers or just send all 4000 at one time..

This site is always so informative there are so many people willing to help on this site.  I have made some great steps with wholesaling and will continue to learn and move forward taking every mistake as valuable lesson. Thank you ahead of time to anyone that chimes inn!!
