The pics we take when a property is at its peak of readiness, are the ones we keep.  We change the order from time to time, etc but no new full set of pics UNLESS there is a design refresh, or renovation of some sort.  The original pics are meant to serve as the benchmark.

Hey @Gabe Chase, Doooood. That is a tough question to answer.

In our case we get the most compliments on the lake and our kitchen. You can't add a lake but you can build out a great kitchen with everything needed to cook anything.

Every STR owner will have a different answer. Some things that would be considered a great amenity are necessities (like a pool).

@Gabe Chase haha we are just the Spiderman meme now at this point! For brainstorming ideas, Miro is a good one. Not essential but I've used it for other things and it's really cool when you are building out a new process, design, or work flow with your team as well. 

Do you use Slack for your whole team? It's a game changer once you have a few employees and operate that many so everyone stays on the same page. I also use OpenPhone for my phone systems, and I love it. I love Notion for my marketing and media tasks! 

Hey Gabe, we manage a growing portfolio of a dozen STRs across 4 markets in 3 states. We use Hospitable as our PMS for automated messages and calendar syncing, PriceLabs for dynamic pricing and market analysis, Minut for noise monitoring, Schlage Encode locks, Ring cameras, and the Google suite for shopping spreadsheets and owner monthly invoices. We're also exploring Monday.com for onboarding new properties and Hospitable’s new "owner statements" feature.

We look to balance efficiency with these tools without over-engineering into cost inefficiencies. I couldn’t imagine managing without our PMS and dynamic pricing tools!

We're currently looking for ways to streamline supplies for cleaners (toiletries, towels, item replacements) and handle small handyman issues. I’d love to hear what solutions you use at your scale! You're 4x our size, so always looking to learn!
