soumds like a good time, can't wait to get the new book fkr free!

A friend of mine is living in a basement apartment he found on craigslist. I went to visit him over the weekend and the basement he lives in has no smoke detectors no egress windows and really spotty electrical through the ceilings. there are five rooms in this basement that are currently being rented out.

After I spent a few hours trying to convince him this place is unsafe and needs to be taken care of he mentioned it to his landlord and she told him he has to move out and the next day she said she wants to evict him.

He's afraid to call the city and report it because if they force him out he has nowhere to go. and that would put out his roomates that he doesnt want to screw over. Does he have any possible legal options to use in this situation?

I just went through the same process. I ended up at Keller Williams in St. Clair Shores. They are the best company to go with for someone that is just starting out. The offer classes ALL the time and also have a mentorship program that will help you with your first few deals, rather than just throwing you out to the wolves like most firms.

If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Good luck!

I chose to go with Keller Williams in novi. I take my test on Wednesday. Is there any advice you can give me on the test or what I should do first after I get my license?

thanks for the response. I haven't yet met with anyone yet but keller williams is top of my list with real estate one as my second choice just from reading about them. Did you meet with realestate one at all and if so was there a reason you chose kw over them?

I am currently working on getting my real estate license. Im wondering if anyone here has any advice on who is a good broker in the area for someone who has no real estate experience that will teach me how to be a great agent.

I'm looking mainly in the novi farmington hills area and have interviews set up with a few brokersjust wondering if there are any more I should add to my list or any to avoid.

thanks. I'll have her send an email for the link tomorrow.

I had the book on flipping houses bought for me as a present for Christmas. It was bought on the 14th. The hard copy hasn't been delivered yet so I was going to download the Ebola to start looking at it but the email says the link is only good for 24 hours. Is there a way to get the link active again?
