So I am interested in investing in real estate in Michigan, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and New York. One thing that pops up is the property inspection. 

What is the best way to select a property inspector?

What are the standard qualifications of a good property inspector? 

Should they be part of an organization? What type of license should they have?

What are the red flags?

How much should it cost? I have heard it ranges from $300-$500.

- The owner address does not have to be in the state, but the Service Agent must be in the state.  You can use a 3rd party company for the Service Agent if you need/want to.

If I use an attorney as the Service Agent, the attorney must in the state where the LLC is formed or could the attorney find a 3rd party company that is in that state?

I am interested in real investing and I keep reading about how having an LLC is important.

Can you use a P.O Box as an address for the LLC?

Does the address of the have to be in that state or can it be out of state?

I am looking at markets in Michigan,New Jersey Connecticut, Pennsylvania

and New York.
