Hey Mike, to answer your question, "So if you could answer what exactly a point is..."  A point is 1% of the loan amount.  So if a loan amount is $100,000.00 a point is $1000.00.

Hello,

I was wondering if anybody has used screenthetenant.com and can give me any feedback on their experience with them.  Ron Legrand recommends them highly but I haven't been able to find really any reviews online about them.

Thanks for the feedback.  Do you send yellow letters or is it a regular type letter?  Would you be willing to show me an example of one you are getting results from?  By the way, I use oncarrot too!  Great websites.

Hello all,

I am an investor here in Louisville, KY and I have a question about direct mail.  I want to market to absentee owners in my town and I see a lot of posts about yellow letters but all of the yellow letter examples have just a phone number in the body and no website.  I am sure that is to make it as personal as possible.  I, however, am looking for examples of personal type letters any of you may have used or are using that are currently using that not only have a phone number but a website to drive sellers to as well.  I am trying to also grab the ones that maybe don't want to call but are willing to look at more information.  Any ideas for letters or postcards?  Thanks in advance.

Hey guys,

I have a rent to own lead website and I am getting tons of leads of folks wanting to buy properties rent to own "lease option". I currently do not have any properties available. I hate to leave these folks hanging though. I have people wanting properties all over Louisville. If any of you have houses you want to sell on a lease option, I can match you with leads of people looking for houses in your area. All I ask for is a referral fee (It can come out of the option deposit) for the lead. I will vet them personally for you as much as you want or you can. Makes me no difference. Get with me if you think we can make a deal for you.

Read all the posts on this topic.  Freaking shame.  You can do all the stuff these scammers are promising yourself.  Find a deal.  Get it under contract.  Find an investor. Sell him or her the deal.  You can even point out a deal you get wind of and point it out to an investor and get a smaller fee but something is better than nothing.  YOU DON'T NEED MONEY.  Find deals and find investors then put them together.  You can find investors on craigslist, we buy houses signs, facebook, linked in, investor groups or go to the court house and search for cash buyers of recent real estate sales.  I love this website.  There are so many folks that will give it to you straight and not try and take your money.  All the emails we are getting promising to make this simple of work free is a SCAM.  It's not hard but takes time and effort.  Success to All!
