A job is not a basic human need?

Did I underststand this correctly? The rules require the landlord to accept the first qualified applicant?

How is selecting tenants different from hiring new employees for your business?

Should it also be required that businesses hire the first qualified applicant for a job versus selecting the best applicant from all who apply?

This advice for reducing heating and cooling costs in older homes may be of some help.

There were two blogs recently discussing how different folks set-up deals on large apartment buildings/complexes for others and were compensated in cash and in ownership shares. My son-in-law has made a career in this business. When  I told him about these deals and Bigger Pockets he became interested said he might consider performing similar service himself.

I would like to show my son-in-law the blogs but cannot find them.

Anyone know how I might recover these discussions?

And does anyone have further info on this subject?

Quite often we see requests for recommendations of service providers in these forums.

Seems like it would be a good idea to develop a permanent rating system similar to what Amazon includes with all the products offered on their site. There anyone can rate from one to five stars and make comments.

When in need of services we could just access the site and read the reviews instead of each person posting a request and awaiting responses.

Don't have a clue as to how we would make this happen.

Does anyone agree or is this off base?

I too am new to real estate investing and did not know what these terms meant. I Googled and the first response was an old post on Better Pockets.

Hope this helps.
