I have been using both Baselane Vs Stessa and I found Baselane more friendly and with better features so I decided to went with Baselane and it has been great.

Managing rental properties has always felt like balancing a dozen spinning plates—tracking rent payments, organizing expenses, preparing for tax season, and keeping personal and business finances separate. I’ve tried a lot of systems over the years, but recently I started using Baselane, and it’s been a big upgrade for my process.

What I really appreciate is how much time it saves:

  • Rent Collection Made Easy: Baselane lets tenants pay online, which eliminates the awkward “Did you send the check?” conversations. Payments are tracked automatically, so there’s no guesswork.
  • Expense Tracking Done for You: Expenses from my property-related accounts are categorized automatically, and I can add notes or make adjustments for anything unique.
  • Prep for Tax Season Without the Stress: It pulls all the numbers I need into one place, making it easier to identify deductions and organize reports for my CPA.

For me, the biggest difference has been organization. Everything related to my properties is centralized now, and that’s freed up mental energy to focus on growth instead of admin work.

That said, Baselane isn’t the only tool I use. For tenant screening, I still rely on [your tool here], and for deeper cash flow analysis, [tool here] has been a go-to. But as an all-in-one financial platform for landlords, Baselane’s been a game-changer.

I used to dread the thought of managing my rental properties. The paperwork, the tenant communication, the financial tracking – it was all so time-consuming and stressful. But then I discovered Baselane, and it's been a game-changer.

One of the things I love most about Baselane is how easy it is to track income and expenses. I can see exactly how much rent I'm collecting, what my costs are, and even how much profit I'm making on each property. Baselane is a popular option with some good features, but definitely newer. Alternatives include Stessa (free) and Buildium (more robust, pricier).

For testing, a phased approach is generally best. Start with one unit or a reliable tenant, then gradually expand. This minimizes disruption if issues arise.

I've been using Baselane for rent collection for about 6 months now, and I've been extremely satisfied with it. Before Baselane, I was dealing with a mishmash of payment methods, including cash, checks, Venmo, PayPal, and Cash App. It was a nightmare to keep track of everything.

Baselane has simplified my rent collection process significantly. The platform is easy to use for both me and my tenants. They can easily pay rent online, and I can track all payments in one place. The ACH collection feature has been a game-changer. It's automated, secure, and reliable.
