@Charles Carillo

Yes, there is a gas main on that street. I estimated the cost to convert to be around $8,000 to $10,000. The property is 100 amps built in early 1900s.

Found out there is legal action against the landlord, multiple citations on the property and owner did not provide proof of rent or expenses. Agent advised against submitting an offer.

Does anyone have experience with a coal heated rental property? What would the cost be to change to electric heat?

Hi everyone,

I am interested in purchasing a two unit rental property in Pottsville PA. I am working with a buyers agent to place a bid on a property. However, the selling agent has not provided the 6 months of rent payments for the property and it has been over 1 week since we made the request.

What documents should I request before placing an offer on the property? The property has several citations from building code department and not sure if the seller has a certificate of compliance.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
