Hi Paul, Welcome to BP.

It is good that you held off on those expensive Guru program, because I am completely new to Real Estate and I thought that those program have the genuine interest in helping you grow as an investor.

I am in one right now, and to be frank with you, 30 minute weekly assignment call wasn't exactly my envision mentoring relationship.  There are no directions to follow, just basic instruction on who to call and ship you a few books about asset protection.

You will find a lot of information on BP that most "Gurus" have and it is offered here for free.  Including, contracts, networking, marketplace, and wealth of information on strategies in which you want to use to acquire properties.

Good luck on your journey, and once again welcome to BP

@Annette Hibbler Thanks you for explaining this to me.  So as an affiliate, do I need real estate license to sell their "products"?   Who am I selling this to?

Hi Tanya!

I don't know anything about Mortgage Notes, have you try using the search bar at the upper right hand corner and see if you can find some information on it.

I found quite a bit of information just using the search.  Of course, it doesn't have everything, but it is a good start.  :)

Hello Nathaniel, Welcome to BP!!

Congratulation on the graduation and the realization that you don't want to work that 9-5. I hate it myself and I only work a few days out of the week and devote all my time on other things that will propel me towards my independence.

I am also new to this whole investing arena, so my advice is probably won't be as useful.

In your situation, why not try and look into creating a corporation separating yourself from the investing business and use the business to accumulate your wealth.

Of course, sought professional advice before you do this. Just some ideas.

Hey Zamiyun!

Welcome to BP.  I too am a newbie investor started this month just to give you an idea how new I am.  From what I experience in the past 3 weeks is that there are a lot of moving parts to real estate investing.

I thought to myself that I could get in on the market as easy as 1-2-3.  After doing some digging, researching and calling up Agents.  I realized that the game isn't as easy as it sounds in the beginning.  That's largely due to my incompetence.

If you are seriously about REI, check out the learning section on this website (on the navigation, click on the Learn Tab).  It has wealth of information on how to get started.  I am in the process of plowing and digesting all the information and putting them into actions.

On the top right corner, you will find a search bar where you will find your answer.  If you don't find it, just ask.

Again, welcome to BP and have fun on this journey!

@Hattie Dizmond wow, I was searching for this answer for awhile and you have the best answer!  I just started this month, so my knowledge is very limited, but I am trying my best to master one concept a time and learn all the terminologies I can.

To follow up on your answer, I noticed that in all the explanations, no one mentioned the use of contracts and where to get them.  I know somewhere do this process, someone must sign something. How does this part fit in?

Thanks you very much for the answer.  Saves me a lot time.

Frankie

Hi Kate!  Welcome to BP!

I like your enthusiasm in your introduction.  :)

I am new to the whole Real Estate game, so no advice from me.  But I would follow your progress and learn from you and your husband.

Of course, in the future, if I could be of help I would do whatever I can to help. :D

Have fun!
