@Tyshaun Golding I have been told that with an REO, the title is usually (most cases) cleared of liens and encumbrances.

@Marc Winter I should have made it clear that I want to buy a property at auction!  That's why I have to know as much as possible before I start that bidding.  Thank you!

Thank you @Marc Winter.  I was hoping it could be done online but I suppose it's time to get acquainted with the county clerk's office.  Practice makes perfect.

I'm having a hard time figuring out how THOROUGHLY research a property in terms of any kind of liens that can possibly be on it.  This is specifically for Nassau County, New York.  The county website is difficult to navigate in my opinion.  Can anyone out there shed some light on the process?

I'm curious how the meet-up went on March 11th.  Will you guys be meeting on a regular basis?  When I'm down there, would love to join in.

I have 3 wood frame SFHs.  One of them might have an issue with the windows.  I am going to have them inspected to see if they can be reinforced.  If not, I'm going to need new windows!  OUCH.

Any wood frame house is going to have some WDO damage, the questions is, to what extent.  I don't think I'd rule out wood frame but I would definitely proceed with caution.  At the end of the day, I prefer CBS.

I live and work in New York, Long Island.  I have three rental properties in St. Petersburg.

I also have investments in the market.

I need an Accountant/CPA to prepare my taxes come year end.
