Hey BP community!!

My name is Forrest, I'm a newbie investor from Boulder Colorado. I was wondering, in your opinion what is the best course/ licensing/ educational platform for a newbie investor. My plan is to fix and flip, BRRR, buy and hold, land and real estate developing.

I’m not really interested in becoming an agent but would love to have more insight on the market and the knowledge of an agent.

Any courses or classes that you highly recommend would be much appreciated!

Thanks, Forrest

@Liz P. Thank you so much, all of that was super insightful information. Thanks for taking the time to respond to my question!

Kalamazoo does look pretty promising, with Covid being an issue or not. Also in that price range if worse came to worse I could just float it until it was rented.

Congratulations on your first rental! Super exciting! I’m sure we’ll be talking again!

Stay well!

Awesome, thank you so much @BJ Everson!

What do you think a more appropriate price range would be for Ohio state?

Thank you very @Michael Reisman. Great to know. Boulder was schedule to do fall in class then spring online but I just heard that they might be moving to all online. We’ll see tho, it’s a crazy time in the world right now.

Hey BP community, hope this message finds everyone well!

I’m a newbie investor from Boulder colorado looking for a little help with my investments.

I’m looking to buy a cpl student rentals in Kalamazoo MI for my first investments. Is this a good idea or not?

I’m looking for properties around 100k 3-4 bedrooms, close to Campus that could be cash flowed. Is this possible?

My biggest concern is do you think that students rentals will be hurt if covid shuts down schools and students are doing all there classes online?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all!
