Thank you all for your comments and advice! Still torn about putting in one of the least expensive stainless steel appliances bundles. I joined ConsumerReports.org so at least I will have some idea on the quality/performance of the appliances. Will definitely be looking for some Black Friday deals.

Hello,

Just bought a condo that needs to be updated. I currently live in it but don't plan on staying longer than a year. Afterwards, I plan on renting it out. This is my first property that I will remodel and know exactly what I want done.....I just don't know the most cost-effective way to do it.

I am taking things slowly and only want to remodel the kitchen first. I plan on replacing the outdated appliances, installing granite counter-tops, and installing new cabinets and lighting.

Does it matter if I get GE stainless steel appliances or a cheaper brand like Frigidaire? Any good website or company that sells good quality stainless steel appliances at a great price? I've come across US Appliance's website and their prices are cheaper than most places.

Also, where can I get good quality cabinets that don't cost a fortune? I almost went with Home Depot but I feel like there are much better options out there.

Thanks
