Thanks Ryan Keeton.

I guess my main question is just.  Would anyone reccomend a real estate agent license as a career move until I can go full tie with my rental properties?  As a career to support my long term goals of getting a rental portfolio established.  Possibly doing fix and flips while I work my way up.

I currently live in Madisonville and am interested in investing here at the moment.  Specifically in multi-family units.  Im considering getting my agent license because I have the time and resources available to aquire it at the moment.  This is an industry I want in my future.  I was curious what others experience was like with it.

I'm currently living with family due to a shoulder surgery thats left me currently unable to work.  I'm trying to use my time wisely and considering one of these online programs to get my real estate agent license.  Any other entry level positions that might be beneficial before getting the license?  Or even a lease agent at a apartment or rental management company?  I'm wanting to get into the industry and gain experience.  I plan to buy my own properties to rent when I can.  Right now my local market seems kind of like a bad area though.  The prices of properties are all high and the rents are all low, 300-600 tops.  I'm still waiting to find the right deals.

So has anyone else got there real estate agent license?  Did you do it online?  Would you recommend it?  Has it benefitted you any?  I would like to jump into it full time after I complete this physical therapy, or it might even be possible to do while I'm finishing physical therapy if theres not a great deal of heavy lifting.

I currently live in western Kentucky in the Madisonville area.  Spent the last 8 years in Lexington and just came back due to medical issues.
