Thanks. He claims to be a REI with 36 units. My question is his site, youtube and info legit?

Are there any REI Groups in Queens NY? The only thing I found was someone selling real estate mentorship from Renatus and I'm not sure about this.

Is this 100 Percent Financed  guy on youtube legit? Is he honest? Or just another scammer?

Without a steady reasonably good paying job your chances of starting are slim, your chances of success probably nil.

You need to go back to work to support your investing until you are established. Adjust your thinking about work, you trade your time for money, no job is any more or less that that. If you can not get your head around that concept you face a impossible challenge.

Thanks. How are investors getting deals with  no income or money?

I saw this post was from 5 months ago....what has happened between that time and now. Have you made even one offer? Have you done anything at all since when you posted?

Not one offer. A lot of Realtors are sending me to banks. I have the credit but not income so the banks are no help.

But you likely won't get a loan without income so in thinking long term, you may need to get another job for now. You could then "house hack" your first property, roommates would pay most of your mortgage, then once that first property is complete, you could refinance it or take a HELOC out on it to buy a second property. Another option is a self directed IRA- do you have a 401k with the company who laid you off? If so, you could use that money to invest in real estate as long as you don't live in the property.

Don't have 401k anymore. I do have high limit credit cards. I need to find a place asap. I don't mind house hacking.

Are there any realtors in the Durham area?
