I have a question myself. I have an LLC already setup. My goal going forward in the in the next couple of months is to finance a home for buy and hold. My question would is would it be better to put the home in my name or in my LLC's name.

My main concern is liability (i.e. someone getting hurt and suing me etc.). My understanding is that if the property is in your name you can get an umbrella policy. My question is would that protect your personal assets (my car and primary residence for instance). Verses having an LLC that would protect my assets. I am open to suggests

Thanks

F

I would try the local HUD/Section 8 office if there is one. Additionally the rent is usually government guaranteed. FYI

Ok yea im pretty sure as far as this. I am schedule for a sit down with him in the next week or 2. Just trying to get a feel for things and ideas, I would have to talk to my broker about whatever i do. Thanks for that though Joel. Also my broker is very investor friendly so a lot flexibility there.

Hello everyone I'm a new agent also, and would like some suggestions far as whats a couple of ways to make some quick income. Some people suggested doing rentals, bank BPOs ($40 a piece or so), and also getting listings of course. Any other suggestions? I am open :-). I am MD licensed and also a registereed HUD bidder.

Thanks,

Frank
