@David Krulac so all the websites that I have found that sales tax overages/excess process are junk? They are not true leads?

One was $4.99 for 3 year old leads, some were $57.97 that were 6 months old. They show the amount owned to them. I guess finding the is the hard part, with these different sites, should I keep away from?

From my research, Alaska does have tax sale surplus. And can collect tax sale overages within six months, after it it barred forever.

I agree, they can't seen the overage to the past owner, especially if they don't live there any longer. They might send a letter.

Thanks anyway, guys!

Where in the county office do I find property lien taxes that has not been redeemed.

Do I ask to look past tax liens that sold? If so, what exactly am I looking for? Do these counties have such list?

I will go to the county myself, yet don't know what/how to research or ask for? I'm not too clear. Please explain this like I'm a four year old. Thanks in advance!

Thanks! Great information to have! By the way, if not CA, how do you feel about other states, like Colorado?

Also, I read your profile about how you started with tax deed sales in California, do you think that is an idea where I should get into in the SF Bay Area? Thanks in advance!

1 - Has anyone obtain lists from TaxSaleList.com for Tax Deed Sales?

2 - How do I find the sale amount of each tax deed at auctions?

3 - How do I find if claims have already been collected?

Any advice or help?! Thanks!
