@Naven Meas. 2020 is indeed excellent year for new or existing investors particularly in California. with Bill sb13 already in-place I recommend dipped and get does hands full with honey what are you waiting for create the wealth. With that being said construction cost well depending what exactly trying to do? what is the sqft of the garage? Is attached or detached ? permit process well it depends on your country, I believe 2020 the permits processing much faster then last year. My recommendation check with your local building & safety for further information. To support your statement I am also trying convert my barn to a Granny quarter’s.

I am currently seeking a Professional Land perris, ca. who’s certified and can provide me Research: parcel history, vesting deeds and maps, Boundary Survey to establish control to set all lot boundary corners, Set Points along Boundary lines to clearly show boundary lines, Prepare a Corner Record Map and file with County of Riverside. With that being said what should I look for when hiring a land surveyor pro’s and con’s?

currently have an issue in Riverside, California i own a .43 acre that doesn't have boundary line nor buried markers, fence out of the question. property zoning is RR 1/2 county assessors plot map that all i have. prior purchase of the land seller stated next door parcel line begins 12 feet away from my barn. Remember and i quote it has no property line in-place, till-date have being maintaining neighbors parcel reason high percentile safety issue massive grass and brush including cactus near by my single family home and cabin wildfire ready to occur. furthermore Next door owner of the parcel his mother-in-law on April 12, 2019 sold property to me with the promise placing a fence and contracting a surveyor its being 4 month W/O action. fist should i justified question the matter? Can I site a lien or judgement, on the neighbor's property w/o a property line for neglecting and maintaining their property with out there consent? what is proper manner handle this particular matter? does any one in BP encounter similar case? quick disclaimer i am not asking legal advise only guidance.
