Genuinely upset I’m not going to be able to make this one guys. The last meet up was super valuable and I love the direction you guys are taking with these—especially with this awesome guest speaker idea!

If it wasn’t for a family wedding I would be there, but I look forward to connecting with everyone in May.

@Jessica Larkin

I’ll be there likely with a couple of colleagues in tow. Looking forward to this, especially with such an excellent choice of venue!

I will be stopping by with a few others as well. Thanks for setting this up @Jacqueline Carrington

I felt the same way after attending a couple REIA meetings. While I did take away some good bits of info, I generally have trouble trusting speakers who I know are there to try and upsell me on their program or whatever. Some of the ways they advertise seems a bit gimmicky too, which I don't like.

For me its not worth the cost of membership right now, especially after finding out about all the local meetups organized by BP members.

Hey Mike,

Just now getting around to introducing yourself?? I see you’ve been a member of the site for months! Too busy with all those projects you’ve had this year I’m sure.

About to get my folks to sign up for an account on here. BP is a great resource.

Appreciate the warm welcome everyone!

Can’t wait to dive into everything this site has to offer. To be honest, I’m surprised I haven't come across this community sooner. Just what I’ve been looking for.

@Jacqueline CarringtonThanks for the heads up on the meet up. Definitely will try to make it!

What’s up BiggerPockets!

My name is Eric and I’m a 23 year old recent UConn grad and Entrepreneurship major based in central Connecticut looking to break into the exciting world of real estate investing. As someone who has always felt at odds with the traditional life script, I've realized real estate was the perfect avenue to utilize my unique skill set to build wealth for myself and my team, while simultaneously improving communities along the way.

Currently I’m focused on more active investing strategies—primarily wholesaling and rehabbing—as a way to build up a base of capital to reinvest in the growth of my business. I’ve recently had the opportunity to observe the rehab process by partially funding a local investors project, and eagerly look forward to doing my first solo deal.
