It's been a few months. I've lurked, learned, and I am now pleased to say I'm a licenced associate real estate broker in NM. I now believe I have enough knowledge to contribute to the community constructively.

Thanks. On crime... one positive trend is that APD, in partnership with the courts, has lowered the previously skyrocketing murder rate. Furthermore, the State has put together a task force of prosecutors to put a dent in organized retail theft. I believe this tough-on-crime approach will make Albuquerque safer and a better place to do business in the near and long-term future.

Hello, folks. I am a homeowner who purchased my first home two years ago trusting a real estate agent (assigned by the mortgage company) who did not seem to have my family's best interest in mind. I made mistakes that I am learning from.

I know very little about real estate investment, but I am looking to learn as much as I can. The goal is to purchase a second home in about a year from now and to use one as a rental property. From there I want to grow into having a portfolio that could change the general trajectory of my family's financial wellbeing. I look forward to learning from all of you.
