Happy to connect with you as I frequently work within the NC market. Also, I know of a great meetup happening early Septembet in Dallas. Feel free to send me a DM to connect and I will pass along the details if interested. 

We are seeing opportunties in the single-family rental space in the southern sector of DFW, we are looking for partners, happy to share more on what we are doing/seeing. 

Evan - I am at the same point in my career/journey, and moving to the DFW area in September.

Would love to go to a few meetups with you and work collaboratively on building a strong network, learning the market, and preparing to investment in a first property. 

I think you're in meetup central.  Seems like we have a meetup somewhere almost every night of the week in DFW area.  I like the NTAREI group.  They have changed a bit of formats lately with some happy hours that are just networking, no program.  I think those are free.

Another good one is First Tuesday group that meets at Hyenia's Comedy Club in Ft. Worth first Tuesday of the month in the evening.  That one also free.

I believe first time is free at Robin Carriger's DFW Real Estate meetup group on Saturday mornings in Fort Worth.  He has some great programs and a good group of mostly small investors.

I've often posted a pretty big list of many of the groups that meet around town, so you might search on that and see if you can find one of those posts.  If not, DM me and I can send you the list.
