Hey Chicago BP community. Being incredibly new to the investment side of RE I've been networking with a lot of people on BP in my area. My goal is to find a mentor who I can potentially partner with later down the road. I've been an agent here in Chicago for a few months so I have some experience under my belt but very hungry to learn more. I'm more than willing to put in the hours researching, number crunching, networking, etc... to help my mentor on deals so I can one day make my first deal. If you, or anyone you know needs extra help around the office, or is willing to have me shadow them for a while I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to learn while also putting in the work to help my mentor.

How can this newbie help you?

-Experience with leases

-Licensed Realtor

-Have my own website

-Experience with Facebook Marketing

-At least 35 hours a week I could put towards an investment career

-I have the hustle you and your business needs to get more deals

Welcome Jason! I'm new as well. I would love to hear about how you found your deal and how you financed it! Always looking for new ideas. Keep it up!

I'd be interested to know if your group is open as well! Just starting out in the investment side of real estate.

What's up BP! I'm super excited to say I'm a new member. After splurging on podcasts, webinars, youtube videos, and across the forums I'm looking forward to putting the pedal to the metal on my investing career.

Since my graduation from the University of Iowa I've been an agent here in Chicago for a few months and the experience has been great. I grew up in the north suburbs so I didn't know the city too well when I started so I decided to drive for Uber on the side to learn all the streets and popular places. Having recently learned about driving for $$$ I can look back and say I actually got paid to do some of that driving :)

Now that I've been doing more real estate transactions (mostly rentals since I'm 23 and my sphere consists of mostly recent college grads) I've become quiet familiar with a few neighborhood rental markets including Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Streeterville, Old Town, Gold Coast, Bucktown/Wicker Park, Ravenswood, and Logan Square.

My goals are to use my experience in real estate as an agent to help other investors. Personally, I'd like to have my first investment property in the next 6 months so I will be networking with anyone willing to lend a hand, or a dollar :) I plan on using my personal connections to find a majority of the money I'll need but I'm always open to offers.

Anyways, if you can't tell, I'm stoked to start being an active member of BP and I look forward to hearing from and meeting other active members!
