but it doesnt sound like a smart business decision. what are your thoughts?

What is the upside in assuming an existing mortgage on a property? Most deals I see that advertise the ability to assume the existing mortgage seem to have higher interest rates compared to what is being offered now on new loans.

Anyone have experience with seasonal rentals in the Catskills region? Considering buying a small house to rent out for fishing destinations.

Can you be profitable with these types of properties when only renting for a few months a year?

I have a rented apartment with hardwood floors. The previous owner had cats and there is a strong urine odor coming through the floors by the kitchen.

The tenant has tried applying a number of different deodorizes but all make the odor worse.

Is there anyways to eliminate or mask the odor without removing the hardwood floors?

Is it common for the tenant to ask for reimbursement for supplies they purchased due to the odor, or a discount off the rent due to the odor not being treatable?

I am trying to look up which banks own foreclosures in specific areas in Pennsylvania. I am looking to buy a package of forecloses in specific areas.

Is there an ACRIS equivilant for PA?

Can this be acquired on MLS listing?

Anyone familiar with the process?

Thanks
