Hi BP Community,

Looking for recommendations on quality Property Managers in Raleigh, NC. Only have 1 property currently under management there, but our experience with our current PM has not been great. Lease is up at end of November and we're looking to switch Managers once that lease expires. Might be of note that we are not local to Raleigh any longer, so the more we can trust a PM to handle day-to-day ops well and act with our best interests in mind, the better! Any pointers or recommendations would be much appreciated! Thanks!

This is actually a good question. I've been advised before to consult with an attorney when forming an LLC in order to "set it up correctly for RE investing". But, to your point @Mark Kennedy, it's very simple to set one up yourself through the SoS website.  

Broader question for the group: What specific benefit(s) does using an attorney to help setup your LLC provide?
