I am planing to purchase a condo/coop at the end of summer that i plan on staying in for a max 2 years before moving on to house hacking multi families. Upon leaving i plan on keeping the condo as a rental unit. I am aware i have to but in a HOA that will allow leasing but other then that, anyone have any use tips i can take into consideration during this process

Hey everyone, I am a newbie to real estate investing and have been doing a lot of research and reading about house hacking and i am hoping after summer to start aggressively looking for a property and be into something by the end of the year. Im located in New York so i see house hacking as the perfect way for me to get into real estate investing. If anyone had any tips or can share any positive (or not so positive) experiences they came across in their own trials with house hacking and multifamiles
