Any referrals on contractor in Chicago to get a estimate on a rehab ? Thanks

Looking to work with lender that's willing to do a JV 50/50 split. Looking for someone to fund the purchase price, rehab, loan costs and holding costs. I'm focusing on the city of Chicago (northside and northwest of the city) . I have zero experience in flipping houses and looking for an opportunity to get in. My only experience in RE if you want call it that , is loan officer/marketer for a mortgage company before crash, I did most of the leg work for the company. Amy tips is welcomed . THANKS

I'm currently looking to get into real estate I enjoy searching for deals and opportunities. Lately I  have done some reading on hard money lenders . I'm interested in the finance side of the industry and will like to get involved in financing deals for investors. I would to know is there such a thing as HM broker or is there a way to get into the business  and making a living lending money to investors to put there deals together . Thanks in advance 

I've been looking for properties in the Miami area from SFH and multi-unit properties . But everything I search looks over prices , most of my property searches have been through MLS. Is there any active investors in the Miami area experiencing the same. Also how do you feel about investing in condos?? Any advice or suggestions are welcomed. I'm still working on my first DM campaign n should be off the ground in about a month . Thanks in advance for your comments

great post, is there a specific place in south florida that u focused on?? I'm new to the RE and currently living in miami beach and I seen a lot cranes going up and lots developers marketing there projects lately, not sure if it's another recovery or another cycle of foreign investors buying up property .

Also Im in the process of starting DM ( yellow letters ) in the miami area any words advice ??
