@Trista Fenner Long story short, the financing fell through, but not until after I had shelled out a bunch of money for inspections. Now the sellers are trying to sue! It was a very expensive lesson.

@Meshael Eady I know in my state, offer contracts are pretty standard, fill-in-the blank forms, so you should be able to find something online that would be legit, just make sure it’s applicable to your state.

My husband and I currently have a couple rental properties in a small town near Topeka that we came into almost accidentally. We’re wanting to relocate to the Kansas City area and house hack a multiplex, but we have no idea where to start! We recently had a deal blow up in our faces, so we’re a little gun shy and would appreciate some advice and guidance. We’re also interested in networking events if anyone knows of any.

I should mention, we don’t have enough equity yet to take out much of a HELOC (long story).

My husband and I purchased a house about a year ago; we assumed what was remaining on the existing mortgage. It’s in desparate need of rehab. What are some options for rehab-only financing? We’re newbies when it comes to rehab.

@Mike Burkett I’m assuming nine bedrooms, three bathrooms.
