Check your Google Analytics, if it comes as Referral traffic, it's spam.

When you will click on those websites in GA, the spammers get paid.. the dark side of affiliate marketing.

@Brad Chandler

Really?

What was your strategy, budget and what did you advertise?

Also, I know a lot of people who advertise on Facebook do not use their filters properly.

There is so much you can do with them, and if you advertise it correctly the cost is really low because you are advertising to potential people who want to see your ads :)

P.S - I find this guide very helpful in bringing traffic to your listing. With listings you get visitors -> leads -> sales

Here is my SEO strategy, based on Brian Dean ideas who is a top dog in SEO.

1. Find websites in your niche that might link to you

-you can do that by scanning the websites and see if they ever outlink to any other content

2. If yes, find out what they out link to

-is it articles, videos, infographic, presentations etc

3. Create content that is better (better than the content they currently link to)

-this is the hardest part, a lot of people think if they write 600 words, add couple images they are doing a good think, they are blogging, they are doing SEO which is false

-you need to create a pice of content that is AMAZING

4. Outreach

-email those people who are in charge of the websites and tell them about your new content

-don't ask for a backlink, just let them know something is better out there.. and if it really is better, they will backlink to you!

Hope that helps.

@Brad Chandler

Brad, I am an agent and an investor on the side.

As far as Facebook leads, we generate a lot of leads for Open Houses we host, and those leads usually turn into buyer leads. Have you been able to generate leads off of Facebook too?

Hello,

My name is Erik from Chicago.

I've been in the real estate business for last 7 years now. I am pretty new to the game, yet I try to focus on online marketing and referrals only.

I am a huge fan of Facebook ads, email marketing and ranking properties in Google against Zillow and bigger sites using YouTube presentations.

I hope to learn a lot from you.

Thanks,

Erik
