Good for you, starting young!  I'm getting started myself, still learning.  The book that piqued my interest was Rich Dad, Poor Dad, that was the one that started shifting my mindset.

Cashflow Quadrant and Fake by Robert Kiyosaki. It's Rising Time and Rich Woman by Kim Kiyosaki.

Invest In Real Estate and The Book On Real Estate Investing With Low And No Money Down by Brandon Turner.

The Millionaire Real Estate Investor by Gary Keller, Sell Or Be Sold by Grant Cardone, really there are so many, check out BiggerPockets bookstore, google major investors on here.

What I'm hearing is to research different methods and zone in on the one you want to start with and learn all you can about that.  You can branch out later.

BiggerPockets has short clips on finding and analyzing deals, networking, etc.  Read articles and forums here.  Good luck to you!

Would lowered rents/rates help to keep hotels/commercial in business and would it be worth it?  What about the projected future homeless professionals who could be living out of hotels?  (Guess that's where apartment conversion comes in?)  Crazy times.

I have kind of a spin-off question on this subject.  I was just curious if gold or silver could ever be used as collateral or some other commodity?

I'm in the same boat as you, but I wonder if there's a difference between what one would learn (I want to learn everything possible that will help).  I'm so new to this.

That's too bad, I hope that changes someday (about north St. Louis).
