Good morning everyone. I don't post much here but I read and learn a ton.

I am looking for input. I have the opportunity to buy a former B and B. We are considering renting each room by the month. 1 room would have a private bathroom and the others would not. There would be a common kitchen dinning area and 2 common bathrooms. Does anyone here have experience with this type of rental opportunity? What are positives and negatives? What did you /are you getting for rent? Thank you in advance for your input!

I am also a member of the ROPA group. It is very much active, but I would love to see more younger folks start attending. We meet once a month and it alternates from lunch 1 month to dinner on the opposite month. I believe our January meeting will be held in the evening at the elk's lodge on January 6th or 7th ( I will confirm the date and time). Please let me know if you are interested in coming so we can plan the meeting space accordingly.

I started this thread to try and get an idea on how many people are using/ involved with the BP community here in Northern Michigan. I have looked through other threads and looked a little on Market Place here on BP and didn't see anything from up here and very little in the state so I was curious to see who was out here on BP.

So again thanks for responding and I look forward to meeting you at the ROPA meeting in a couple of weeks!

Good Morning BP.

I am new to the forums on BP and I am looking for other Northern Michigan focus that may be using BP for there real estate investing needs. I am meeting with one investor tonight but that got me to thinking how many Northern Michigan folks are out here in BP land. And since I was listening to Brandon Turner and David Green yesterday and they were talking about taking actional steps and just knocking out those 30 secs to 5 min tasks, (BP podcast episode #272). Here I am.

So if you are in Northern Michigan, which for Brandon Turner is anything outside of Metro Detroit, but for those of us in Michigan know that is anything North of Clare.  I am looking specifically looking for anyone Cadillac and north. I like to see you jump on this thread and maybe we can get enough of us to get together in person.

So let me know who is out there!
