Hi, Im new to this thread and to Real Estate investing in General.  My wife and I love Tulum and have thought several times in investing there.  I will have to do my due diligence and research everything that has been stated here on this thread.

This might be a silly question but how does financing work internationally?  If my deal is split between equity and debt, can that debt come from any bank or are there any stipulations on having to take on debt specifically from Mexico  banks?

Eric here, newbie, ready to soak up all the knowledge and start investing in real estate.  Real estate has always been an interest of mine and now my wife and I are ready to take this interest to the next level.  Any other investors in the San Francisco Area?  Any one have information on meetups and other types of networking events in the area?

Just getting ready to dip my toes into Real Estate Investing and am doing research on markets.  A friend of mine has a few multi-families around the Rockland, Waldoboro, and South Thomaston areas in Maine.  She has family there so there is a bias.  Looking for an unbiased opinion on those areas if anyone has any.
