I work with many new agents who run into this very problem.   As others have mentioned, getting either a line of credit or a 0% credit card is a great option.

Since you do not have funds to start your career right now, you do have time.  There are so many ways that you can start creating a following for yourself.  Luckily for you these are tasks that you can do just by putting in the effort to get started.

Check out the list I started below for you to start, even if it is before you pay your MLS dues.

  1. Build your website-Most likely you will not receive leads from this source, however it gives you credibility.
  2. Start SEO streams
  3. Start writing blog posts-Store up about 6 weeks worth and then push them periodically
  4. FACEBOOK-Right now this is the best and cheapest way to generate leads (I can actually provide more on this subject, but it would go on forever)
  5. Networking-This shows people that you are a pillar in the community

Congratulations @Michael Guerra.  Now the fun begins.

What are you looking for in a Brokerage?  I have been in Real Estate for a while and can offer some advice.

Get More Deals!

It is an amazing tool for information, but not really known in the retail Real Estate world.  It can provide a wealth of knowledge for this who choose to take the time to seek it out.

I use Kunversion for my buyers and sellers.  It is predictive and emails and texts people for me.  They also have a great app that allows you to do everything that the site does as well.
