Hello Everyone, I am trying to calculate my expenses for a complex I am looking at. I went to the county to see what the current taxes are. I then found the millage rate and roughly estimated what my taxes would be based on the purchase price if I were to buy . Both numbers are very close. Shouldn’t my taxes on the purchase price side be much higher ?

Hello Everybody. This post may be a little different, maybe not but I figure I would try. As an upcoming investor my main goals are building relationships and learning as much as possible. I wanted to put myself out there and offer any help any veteran investors may need on their current projects. This could be things like Demo, rehab help, basically anytime you made need an extra hand . I am not looking for any compensation, just knowledge and experience , and of course to build a relationship. Open to any and all suggestions as well. Please , if anyone has any interest in this and would like to speak more, do not hesitate to reach out .

Hello BP family! I have been trying to be a little more active on these forums so here goes my first one. I have been searching for properties , using several different marketing strategies since May of this year. Wholesaling being my main focus ( hate to use that word because there is often a negative vibe attached to wholesalers). Still open to anything however and learning more and more. I decided to get my real estate license just last month , but my real interest is more on the investing side but I figured it would not hurt to get licensed. Now my dilemma is , what can I do now that I am licensed ? What benefits do I have ? I don't really want to be a full time real estate agent but would not mind selling or finding a home for a buyer if the opportunity presents itself. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

@Diante Lawrence Hello Diante ,

Send me a direct message I can walk you through the process.

Does anyone have any suggestions for zip code maps. I ordered one 48inx48in and turns out it wasn't zoomed in enough so it was kind of useless. I would like to be able to see neighborhoods so I can segment my market. I spent like $300 on this thing. just wanted to know if anyone has any better ideas.

Thanks!

@Matthew B. thanks. I have been told a few times the same thing . I spent forever just on making the "perfect" business card. Then I said whatever lets just slap some contact info on there for know and general info and go find some deals! Best of luck to you my friend and thanks again for the advice.
