I am a full time intensive care physician

was working  London most of my life, moved to Abu Dhabi 2 years ago.

I started to invest in real estate few years ago, mainly in UK, Egypt, Cyprus and Turkey.

I was planing to start investing in USA two years ago but sadly I was extremely busy with work.

I will USA shortly to attend the BP conference and I would love to connect with like minded professionals specially those with experience in investing in USA as a foreigner.

Dear all,

It seems that there are restrictions on foreigners to buy properties in Oklahoma.

Does anyone have information about this?

Thanks will

Basically as I am overseas my finance options are limited , so for a small purchase , under 100 k it will be cash.

For larger purchases 100-300 K will be cash first then refinance , but seems the best I can get is. refianace at 40% equity.

so Cash flow is important and protecting the capital is equally important.

Hi all, I am an overseas investors, no experience in USA market. Actually I am a full time physician but very keen on REI. I am trying to find the best possible cities for buy and hold, I am cash buyer at least for the short term so cash flow is important but also capital gain on the long run or at least I want to be confident that I can sell easily should I need to.

Numbers in Cleveland are very good now , but i have some concerns about the future outlook and would love to hear from experts.

what do you think about Cleveland future?

Apart from the excellent cash flow now , almost all the other indicators are bad.

population decline for decades, poverty levels are high, un employment levels are very high

Buying Multifamily with 40% down ( I am overseas so the max loan I get is 60%).

So buy and hold

Did you already buy your first deal? Did you do poorly on it and that is holding you back? Are you investing here or in Abu Dhabi?

I am looking for a good first deal in USA.

I don't have much experience in REI and no experience at all in USA.

One property will not make a much difference to me financially either way , but if my 1st deal is bad then this can put me off and I don’t want that.

Having positive experience will encourage me to do more and more and then this eventually will affect my life.
